The enhanced cell counting algorithm provides accurate cell count calculations with every measurement.
Three Image Capture Modes
The SP‑3000P offers three image capture modes, the use of which depends on the patient’s ocular condition:
- Automatic
In automatic mode, the device performs automatic positioning and automatic capture, requiring no action or experience from the physician. Suitable for the majority of patients. - Semi‑automatic
In this mode, the physician must perform manual positioning, but capture is automatic. This mode is suitable for patients with fixation difficulties or irregular corneal structure. - Manual
Provides full control over actions, allowing manual positioning and capture. Convenient in cases where the patient’s cornea has low reflectivity or other abnormalities.
When combined with a video printer, original software, and a personal computer, the SP‑3000P provides ideal conditions for patient follow‑up and systematic data analysis.
3D Positioning
Three motors working in conjunction with infrared sensors automatically perform positioning and centering of the device, ensuring accurate and reproducible images of the endothelial layer.
Fixation Marks
For convenient imaging, the SP‑3000P uses five fixation points: central, nasal, temporal, superior, and inferior.
Endothelial cell count calculation and corneal thickness measurement can be performed simultaneously.
