Few people know that I had poor vision since the 6th grade, as I wore contact lenses for the last 5 years. I remember the first time I put them on – I was overjoyed, everything became so bright and colourful. I hadn’t had my eyes checked for a long time, and I also work 8 hours a day in front of a computer. I booked a diagnostic examination – it turned out that my vision had worsened: right eye –6.5 and left eye –7.0, plus astigmatism. On that same day, I decided to have the surgery, paid, and chose a date. And now, after 10 years, I have 100% vision. I am probably as emotional and happy as anyone who has regained their sight.
