During my law studies, I was focusing on a future career in law enforcement. One of the requirements was good physical fitness and excellent health. While the first was fine, there were issues with the second.
Since early childhood, greedily devouring books, I ruined my vision. I wore glasses and had high astigmatism. There was no question of successfully passing a medical examination.
So, in 2014, during my final year of studies, I decided to have vision correction and went to @av_astana, so that I could later pass the medical examination. At that time, because such surgeries were not widespread, some people advised against it, frightening me with possible complications and vision deterioration over the years.
Now, 9 years later, I can personally say, based on my own experience, that the flight has been excellent. I have eyesight like an eagle. I’m glad that I made the decision back then and had the correction. And Aigerim had correction 3 years ago, after the birth of Batyr. She wrote a post about it. And the diagnostics showed that everything is fine.
But the biggest news is that the ASTANA VISION eye clinic network now offers the most advanced laser vision correction method – SmartSight. This is a huge achievement for Kazakh ophthalmology, because in all of Central Asia, only they have the Atos femtosecond laser from the German company Schwind.
So don’t be afraid, take advantage of the benefits of modern medicine, and I wish everyone to see this bright, vibrant world with their own eyes.
If anyone doesn’t know, the ASTANA VISION clinic network has clinics in all major cities of Kazakhstan: @av_almaty, @av_astana, @av_karaganda, @av_oskemen, @av_pavlodar, @av_semey, @av_shymkent, @av_atyrau.
No matter where you are, you can always count on qualified solutions to vision problems!
P.S. I didn’t end up building a career in law enforcement – the commission didn’t take me at the decision stage for either the prosecutor’s office or the police 😄 At the time, it upset me. But now I understand that life often has its own plan for each of us. I am where I belong, and I know where I’m heading next.
