In my Reels above, I showed my journey to good vision.

Here I want to answer the main questions and help those who, like me, are afraid to make a decision:

1. Which clinic did I choose and why?

I didn’t think long and chose @av_astana because, in my opinion, they are leaders in vision correction and have specialised in this area for a long time.

2. How much does the surgery cost? Are there any hidden costs?

The diagnostics cost 15,000 tenge, and the surgery costs 450,000 tenge. And that’s it! No additional costs, plus 3 months of follow‑up care are free. They also provide post‑op eye care medications.

I want to express special gratitude here, because in Kokshetau private clinics charge 6,000 tenge for a 10‑minute appointment, and another 3,000 for a follow‑up the next day. At Astana Vision, for 15,000 tenge, I was examined before lunch, after lunch, and the next day as well. Moreover, there were so many devices, dilation drops, and the doctor’s time – it is very valuable.

3. Who performed the surgery?

I was operated on by Pushkar Stanislav Igorevich, @dr_pushkarstanislav. A true professional. I had a complex right eye, with an artificial lens and pupil deviation from the centre. The doctor handled it perfectly. But I am sure that there are no random people in this clinic – everyone is a professional.

4. Is it painful?

No. It is slightly unpleasant, but tolerable. Think about the fact that after 5 minutes of discomfort, you will have excellent vision.

5. What about recovery after surgery?

After surgery, it hurts a little. You can’t open your eyes; they water and sting. But you will be sent home right away. You need to lie down with your eyes closed for 3–4 hours, and it will pass.

There are practically no restrictions, but it all depends on the correction method. You will discuss all these questions with your doctor during the diagnostics.
