Yes, I regret it.
I regret every year I put off this decision.
I regret the thousands of mornings when the first thing I had to do was look for my glasses.
I regret the endless contact lenses, dry eyes, fogged‑up glasses in winter, and the fear of losing a lens at the most inconvenient moment.
I thought I had gotten used to it. That millions of people live like that.
But it turned out that you can’t get used to poor vision. You can only resign yourself to it.
And only when, after the correction, I opened my eyes for the first time and immediately saw the world clearly, I realised how much I had been missing.
The most amazing thing is that the surgery lasted only a few minutes.
A few minutes that changed years of my life.
If today you’re telling yourself again: «I’ll do it later,» know that this is the phrase patients most often remember after surgery.
And almost everyone says the same thing:
«I regret only one thing… that I didn’t have laser vision correction much sooner.»
